Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how NeonGold LLC (“NeonGold,” “we”) handles information when you use MyChromaTime at mychromatime.com and related installs of the app. MyChromaTime is a personal time-tracking tool published by NeonGold LLC (neongold.gold). This page is written in plain language; it is not legal advice.
1. Summary
- By default, your tracking data stays on your device (in the browser).
- If you turn on Cloud sync and sign in with Apple or Google, a copy of that data is stored in our cloud database so your devices can stay in sync.
- If you buy Advanced Stats, the store on that device processes the purchase. If you also sign in, we store that you are entitled so other signed-in devices can unlock. Time logs are not part of that purchase record.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show advertising in the app.
2. Information stored on your device
When you use the app, it may store on your device (for example in IndexedDB and localStorage):
- Activities (names, colors, and related settings)
- Time blocks and how you filled your day
- Custom metrics and logged values
- Day notes / journal text
- App preferences (display options, stats defaults, suggestion settings, chart UI prefs)
- Whether Advanced Stats is unlocked on this device
- Optional tracking-reminder preferences (on/off, wait hours, message style)
- Local sync metadata (for example last sync time) when cloud sync is used
This local data is not sent anywhere unless you use cloud sync, export a backup, or your browser otherwise syncs site data through your own browser account features.
3. Advanced Stats purchases
Advanced Stats is an optional one-time In-App Purchase. The store on that device processes the payment. We do not see your full card number. If you sign in after you buy, we store an entitlement flag on your account so the website or another signed-in device can unlock. You can also Restore on another device that uses the same store account, without signing in with us. People who already had a first-500 reservation keep that unlock; we no longer offer new reservation codes.
4. Cloud sync and account information
Cloud sync is optional. If you choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we use Supabase for authentication and storage. In that case we may process:
- Account identifiers from Apple, Google, and/or Supabase (such as your user id and email address, or the private relay Apple provides)
- A sync copy of your app backup payload (activities, time blocks, metrics, day notes, and included settings)
- Timestamps related to when that cloud copy was last updated
Sign-out removes the signed-in session on that device. It does not automatically delete your local data or your cloud copy. Chart-only UI preferences on a device may remain local and not fully sync.
5. JSON backups
You can export and import a JSON backup from Settings. That file is created on your device. If you share, upload, or store that file elsewhere, that is under your control and outside this app’s cloud sync system.
6. Service providers
Depending on how you use the app, these providers may process data:
- Netlify — hosts the website and related static assets / delivery
- Supabase — authentication and cloud sync database (when you sign in)
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases when you choose those options (subject also to Apple’s policies)
- Google — Google sign-in and store billing when you choose those options (subject also to Google’s policies)
We do not operate a separate analytics or advertising SDK inside the app beyond what these hosts may collect as part of normal web infrastructure (for example request logs).
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The app uses browser storage (and, when signed in, auth session storage managed by the Supabase client) to keep you logged in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Data retention
- On-device data remains until you clear site data or delete it in the app.
- Cloud sync data remains associated with your account until it is overwritten by a newer sync or deleted by us upon a valid deletion request (see Contact).
9. Security
We use industry-standard hosting and access controls (including per-user database rules for cloud rows). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Cloud sync payloads are not currently end-to-end encrypted; the cloud host can technically access stored sync data. Protect your Apple or Google account and device access accordingly.
10. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Your choices
- Use the app fully offline / local-only without signing in
- Export a JSON backup from Settings
- Sign out of cloud sync on a device
- Clear site data in your browser to remove local storage
- Contact us to request deletion of cloud sync data tied to your account
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
